Enrico Pazienza was born in San Severo, in the province of Foggia, on November 25, 1926.
After completing his classical high school diploma, he enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture in Rome. During his second year at university he also obtained an art school diploma in Naples, and subsequently decided to abandon his academic studies to devote himself to teaching.
He began his career teaching drawing and art history in secondary schools, later teaching art in middle schools. At the same time he passionately pursued painting, devoting himself first to oil painting and then to the complex and refined technique of watercolor.
He never lost his interest in architecture, working with engineer friends who signed projects he had conceived, including homes, shops, villas and funerary monuments.
He died on June 25, 1998 in San Menaio, in his beloved Gargano.
